Teal Level - Story 1 “The Gas Station” sets the stage for the seven interrelated stories found in the Teal level. It is based on the common theme of shopping at the mall. The first three stories in the Teal Level teach mastery of critical vocabulary found in beginning fourth grade. The next three stories in the Teal Level series teach mastery of critical vocabulary found at the end of fourth grade. The last two Teal stories teach mastery of critical vocabulary found throughout fifth grade. Each story is very powerful.
